30F traveling solo to Rome in April – is dining alone awkward?
Hi! I’m a 30-year-old woman traveling solo to Rome for 3 nights in April (my first time in Italy!).
I have a couple of beginner questions: 1. Is it awkward to eat alone at restaurants in Rome? I’m especially curious about dinner. 2. Are pizzas typically meant for sharing, or is it totally normal to order one just for yourself? 3. And lastly, if you have a favorite spot for really good cappuccino, I’d love recommendations!
I’m really excited but just want to make sure I understand the local vibe. Thanks in advance!
