Estate agent f*** up what are my options?

We put an offer on a house at £305k yesterday, and a confirmation email received yesterday from the estate agent stated the offer we put in, incorrectly, was £205k.

Unfortunately I’ve only read the email this evening and replied that the offer was £305k not £205k. Which as a seller myself I’d find such as low offer as insulting, so I’m wondering how do I try and salvage this?

The sellers are actually with two estate agents rather than one, I’m tempted to phone the other estate agent first thing and explain the issue and put and offer in. I’d rather not deal with the first estate agent after this literal first hurdle f*** up from then, god know what other things will go wrong between if we have a chance of proceeding.
