Colorado Tax Refund Being Mailed/Missing Apartment Number
Ok, so 2 things. 1. My refund is being sent by mail instead of DD for some reason, first year this has happened to me. My unit number is missing on my tax return. I called the department of revenue and their recorded message says if your check is being mailed, you can update your address on the Colorado revenue site. I did that the day before it was supposedly mailed. Do you all think it will be mailed to my updated address now or has anyone else did this and still got their check to the correct address?
- When I look at the credit on my account for this year, I see a random tax credit added for another $700 which brought my refund amount up. Is this something that I will be getting, or only the $6,123? This confused me.
UPDATE: My check is coming in the mail today! I guess updating my address on the Colorado revenue website worked, it shows my unit number! I checked on informed mail delivery. So for anyone who was sent a check and the address is incorrect/missing info, update it on the Colorado revenue site ASAP. I updated it a day before they sent the check. Thank goodness! I will update this again once I see the amount of the refund, I hope I am getting that extra $700 lol
