I’m getting it framed

I don't remember where I read it, but "if it has to work, it works fast."

Spent 6+ months talking to hundreds of prospects, iterating on our core thesis, building in an area me and my co-founder had really strong founder-market fit in. It's brutal not having a clear direction. In that span, we got an interview reject from YC with "problem not hair on fire" feedback.

Take interview feedback seriously. I'm not saying agree with it 100%, but sit with it. YC's feedback is well-thought-out and will inform your thinking more than you expect. For us, it was game changing.

Three weeks since our hard pivot and things are moving fast already. The grind is just as hard as the last six months, but working on something with a clear direction, with users giving you feedback, the mental tax really goes down. The uncertain cycles will keep showing up and probably get worse, but momentum helps so much.

Getting that first subscription payment framed, by the way.
