Adding Canadian-born newborn after receiving ITA (CEC)

I got my CEC ITA last month and gave birth in Canada last week. I added my baby as a non-accompanying, Canadian citizen by birth.

Problem: the portal is forcing me to enter passport/national ID details in the ID section. I am still waiting for my baby's birth certificate and haven't applied for the baby's passport yet. If I select “No,” I get a validation error.

Has anyone dealt with this? What did you enter to pass validation?
