This event does not show up on the Lake Metroparks Events calendar. For those registered in the park district, they received notification by e-mail today:

It looks like it will be a clear night on Thursday, February 26th. Join us at the Environmental Learning Center observatory for a public observation session. We will be casually observing planets, the moon, and deep sky objects.

Date: Thursday, February 26th

Time: 7:00pm-8:30pm

Place: Environmental Learning Center at Jordan Creek Park

7250 Alexander Road

Concord TWP, OH 44077

Please come in the front door and follow the signs to the observatory, which is located on the second floor. Due to limited space inside the observatory, we will be observing in groups of no more than ten, so there may be periods of waiting. The program lead will come for any visitors if they have not had a chance to observe the object yet. Feel free to come and go as you are able. We will let you know if this session is cancelled due to sudden changes in the weather.

Definitely registering at Lake Metroparks can provide some great activity tips!

   Hope to see you there!
