UK M22 looking to travel to Austin for the 4th of July

I’m thinking of doing 4 nights in Austin this 4th of July as a solo trip, staying as close to the college campus as possible. If i come all this way I’d want to have a proper ‘college experience’ i guess. House parties, fireworks, lake parties etc. If anyone could shed some light on if my expectations are realistic or has any recommendations/advice, that’d be much appreciated 👍
