Pursuing Platinum for Life at 15?

I know this might seem stupid but I am currently FB Gold and have 220XP. I fly decently often but the last two years I have ended with 200+ XP so I have been thinking of committing to the extra 100XP. The problem is that my current travels are all paid for by my family. If I would pay the extra 1-1.5K euros per year for XP runs to gain and renew platinum, I would be paying out of pocket. That's not unfeasible, but definitely a considerable expense for me. However, PfL at 25 would be gamechanging for when I start working, having all the perks so early on will probably make company travel in economy much more enoyable, no? I would love some advice from FB veterans
