Son doesn’t like to wear headphones.

Any tips on how to get my 8 year old to wear headphones? If I try some on he will immediately rip them off… We need to travel in April to see my mother in law who has been sick and I would like to figure out a way to not torture other people on the plane with the sound of his tablet.
