veganism for ibs c ?

Question

has anyone with ibs c benefited from going vegan? i am already dairy free due to lactose intolerance and my diet mainly consists of chicken, fish and minced beef with rice and some veg and fruit. i have been trying to eat less meat as it makes me feel sluggish and have noticed when i have rice and veg (mainly eggplant, tofu, courgette and bok choi) i experience hardly any bloating and my stomach feels a lot less heavy. i am going to try a vegan diet for a few weeks to see if it can alleviate symptoms (i get bloated and backed up, i take magnesium oxide every night to go).

i am slightly concerned about nutrients as i am anemic, although i do take iron supplements, and i imagine it is difficult to get in a lot of protein as beans seem to be a no for those with ibs, although i haven’t tried because i am slightly scared. if i struggle with protein i will keep eggs in my diet as i find my stomach tolerates them fine

does anyone have recommendations for vegan low fodmap recipes, and if any ibs c sufferers have benefitted from a vegan diet please let me know

thanks!
