Low cost, interesting or kid friendly eats

Hi there!

We are headed to your lovely city for some days during spring break from Prince George. Traveling with our 7 month old and 5 year old. Wondering if you have kid friendly, lower cost or interesting food suggestions! Think vietmenese/indian/other different types of food from take out places or restaraunts we might not otherwise discover, delis or grocery stores with good takeout selection to stop at before picnics in the park, fun breweries or brew pubs to stop for a quick snack and beverage in between activities.

Overall looking for ideas and also trying to figure out if I should just pack and prep meals at home and freeze them to being or if we can do it equally as cost effective and a bit more fun there. I love kid welcoming or kid friendly places but would rather eat a sandwhich in the park than go somewhere like old spaghetti factory.
