How do you people do this!?

So, I was studying chemistry right now from the AQA GCSE 9-1 combined science higher book and... how do you understand this! I'd want to upgrade this to Triple Science in Year 10 but even this is scaring me.

For the past two days, I can't wrap my head around fullerenes, graphene and polymeres and their differences.

Any tips? Not just for this but for Science Higher in general.
