Consolidate the Canaries vs. Found New Kingdom

Just looking for general thoughts or opinions here. I am on a playthrough out of 867 in the Canaries. I founded the duchy and generally wanted to play tall for a few generations at least, accumulating development and rapidly advancing/reforming Guanche culture while working toward the Consolidation decision, which really only requires a bit of conquest to get the requisite holy sites to reform Achamanism. But while raiding through the Mediterranean, I ended up getting the Conqueror trait and decided not to waste it. So I conquered the Duchy of Rif and the Duchy of Mayurqa, and that gave me the decision to Found New Kingdom.

At this point I'm sort of unsure what to do. I'm tribal and won't be feudal for at least a little while, so the Consolidate decision might be out of the question for this lifetime (and possibly the next). Founding a new kingdom would also sort some succession issues. That said, I really am a fan of the Canarias kingdom, though I can't remember if it comes with any bonuses. Any thoughts on whether I should just found a kingdom now, or bite the bullet and wait on the Consolidate decision?
