Tentative Pfmla

Has anyone here applied to tentative PFMLA in Massachusetts? I have a new job, only started 2 weeks ago, and have refractory epilepsy with about 1 to 2 seizures a month. For job security I’m looking into applying for tentative PFMLA in Massachusetts but am very worried about telling my boss in case I don’t qualify. I know for fmla you need to be with a job for a lot of hours to qualify but based on my understanding of MA’s pfmla you can qualify at the start as long as you’ve worked with any company in the past year. Can anyone confirm that this is true?
