Daniel Jackson Gave up the goose to the Vanir

When the Vanir asked Daniel Jackson what happened to the Asgard he told them they were dead. The Vanir were highly interested in studying humans without the Asgard intervention. They were ham strung in the pegasus by the wrath. So Daniel Jackson basically told them there's a galaxy with tons of humans, no Asgard high council, and no wraith.
