xEdge = tailscale in China?

I was researching the usage and use cases of tailscale in China and the name xEdge came to me. It seems to me xEdge is the China's answer to Tailscale and it should be able to work faster and smoother than Tailscale inside China. Howeve the literature till suggests to use Tailscale for overseas apps and websites while using xEdge for China apps. May I ask if anyone here have the experience of using xEdge in China and other regions?
