\#1 Lord Connor Consoliver.

The origins of Lord C are mostly unknown, and are often the topic of conspiracy. He’s consistently told a completely new story every time he’s been asked about it, without exception, so there are thousands of misconceptions about him out there. There are a few things that are documented though: he went on (nearly) exclusively successful treasure hunting at some point, found Illyria during one of them, and ten years after that he publicly reveals the cure to cancer. There are little to no documents about HOW he made the cure, or when, but it works for the most part (around 1 in 25 people who use it get even worse).

after one of the three kings of Openland used his concoction to cure his daughter, he gave Connor a favor, which he immediately used to acquire a massive piece of land, a excessively large manor, and the title of Lord, allowing him some sway in political matters. the now Lord Connor went on to staff his manor.

To start, he was given around a hundred Felidan ~~slaves~~ servants with the property, but that was just the beginning. Lord C has a knack for finding people who he finds interesting (in part because his definitionally of “interesting” is really simple) and he’s willing to go to excessive lengths to get even ONE new staff member (blackmail being something he does a decent amount). This has lead to him gaining over seven hundred staff members, with everything from Vampires to Angels to fallen royals, to random folks he quite literally picked up off the street. It’s almost a pathological habit at this point, and is his main hobby.

Lord C’s personality is.. flexible, to put it nicely. He often switches between a bumbling yet somewhat endearing fool, to a calm and collected individual who exudes control, to a careless agent of chaos who’s only acting to make everything worse for everyone involved. As such, people often think he has some horrid demonic passengers in his mind, but the spirits of the world insist it’s the contrary, as they can’t sense even a soul fro him to call his own within him. That’s also a topic he‘s intentionally made murky.

Currently he’s mostly directionless, enjoying his little circus he calls a home. Although, the nation of Imperia has been getting a bit too large and totalitarian for his tastes. He’ll likely try something relatively soon.

but that‘s just what he‘d let you know. Here’s what he wouldn’t: In truth, he is not a person at all. Not even an entity. See, existence has been in motion for a while, and throughout everything, from top to bottom, true to false, real to fiction, Conflict has stayed consistent. So consistent, that the very state of being began to develop based on the very existence it upholds. It began to evolve, learning to mimic life, emotions, everything.

Lord Connor is merely the current result. He’s hardly stopped developing, he’s just deep enough in that he can comfortably be in the world with little fear of someone truly nailing him down outright. In truth, he feels nothing. Not even when he’s having large reactions. He knows everything and can see the future, and he can only simulate feelings of any sort. So, his current goal: gaslight himself, until he has the lie so highly built, even he may forget.

some misc facts about Lord C:

* He forgot to name the manor, and so now everyone calls it “UnNammed manor” as a joke.
* Two of the reasons collecting new staff is his hobby are A: he knows everyone deep down, and loves being a part of lives, and B: it helps him develop his existence of lies if he has people to copy off of.
* I ran him through a psychopathy test, and he passed. So, existence woke up and became a psychopath.
* his face is ALL wrong, no lips, teeth, tongue, or anything like that, his eyes are distinctly non-Felidan despite supposedly being a pure blooded one, and his mouth is stuck smiling.
* similar to his face, his arms are also wrong, using the image as reference, the one behind his back appears normal (take off the gloves and it’s all missing textures, but still) meanwhile the one he has in a waving position is morbidly large past the elbow, leading to asymmetry.
* he NEVER takes off his clothes, not even the top hat, because his body is obviously otherworldly beneath (literal missing textures). he bathes in that suit.
* He is ace/aro due to not being good at pretending to feel those emotions (and generally not actually feeling emotions). despite this, he knows a Kitsune who is openly trying to marry him, which he isn’t sure how to deal with but he finds it funny.
* He is one of the exactly two Felidan lords in the world, a fact he CAN and WILL remind you of. This is due to Felidans easily being the most discriminated against species in most countries (Multiple people died refusing to use the cure for cancer because Lord C is a Felidan)
* Lord C breaks the fourth wall casually yet subtly, often looking to future scenes for reference of how to act.

\#2: Miss Illyria.

Miss Illyria was born the bastard child of an elf and a Felidan, for reasons that are long forgotten. One way or another, she ended up sealed in a small cave at a very very young age (enough to lack memories), with a bit of food.

For context, Felidan biology mixed with Elven biology is about as close as you can get to non-magic/science based immortality, as Elves can last for years on a few meals, and when a Felidan is dying they lose control and unconsciously do whatever is perceived as necessary to survive. So, she could eat a few Bites of food, try to starve herself for about six months, and then her body would make her eat more. She couldn’t get out of the cave, and had no light source or human interaction for a little over a century. Her body wouldn’t even allow her to consciously kill herself with a rock or anything.

Then, seemingly randomly, Connor smashed the cave in while supposedly looking for treasure. She was nearly blinded by the sight of light, and she was in about the state you’d imagine her to be after a whole century locked in a small space with no human contact. She’d never been old enough to recall people before, so she genuinely was unable to comprehend him. Or what he was blabbing about. He carried on into the cave, and by the end he’d taken her as a pet.

The first meal she had outside the cave is one of the greatest moment she’d ever had. No mold, or bugs, or other unsavory sources of “nutrition” real, good tasting food. It was completely overwhelming. Mentally, she was effectively a toddler, but Connor taught her how to speak, understand language, read, cook, etc. Ten years go by, and she’s advanced into a (mostly) functional member of society. She is endlessly excitable in the way a child is, due to effectively having the mind of a ten year old (albeit, in elven years her body is around 18 years old).

She was with Connor when he came forth with the cancer cure, and even helped make it (she fetched a few ingredients for him during testing). Now she’s his right hand assistant, and the closest person he has in his life. She genuinely loves him, and considers him hed father in private. She’s scared of being alone or in the dark, so her bed is in his quarters for the company. She gets discriminated against often by many, due to what she is, but she hardly minds.

Some misc. facts about Miss Illyria:

* Despite having elven blood, she stands a foot shorter than Lord C, despite him supposedly being a full blooded Felidan, which always cap at four feet tall.
* Her favorite food is roasted chicken, and Lord C often spoils her with it.
* for a time, she didn’t have much more favor in Lord C’s eyes than anyone else. When he first secured the manor, he kept her in a relatively small room that had thick curtains and a small window. That changed when she went to his room complaining about a nightmare, and asking to stay in there. At first he was going to send her back, like he would anyone, but seemingly for no reason he changed his mind, and moved her into his quarters the next day. He’s been spoiling her ever since.
* She generally goes along with whatever Lord C does, since he (a psychopath) taught her morality. She does have limits though, and isn’t immune to being disturbed by him from time to time.
* Her Wardrobe is made from his clothes due to him not having a lady of the house, something that’s rather scandalous but she doesn’t mind. The Kitsune who wants to marry Lord C has given her some of her own clothes though “she’ll need it later” and such.
* She is eagerly goes to new places with Lord C often, and can nearly match his energy when doing so.
* She tries her best to be professional, but at heart she’s still a child who was neglected by.. well, everything, for far, FAR too long. As such, she can get really emotional quite easily, and often seeks Lord C for support.
* Her eyes see different colors, the blue one only sees what a cat can, while the elven one can see a few more than even humans can. it’s confusing.
* she still has trouble pronouncing some words.
* she often tries to mimic Lord C, copying some of his mannerisms and movements.

If you made it through all that, feel free to drop your thoughts, recommendations, suggestions, or questions. Good day to you.
