I've had fissure for almost four years now is surgery the best option?
23f here, it's been almost four years since I got fissure, in the beginning year when it started it never felt painful, but just like a lot of bleeding but as time went through as I was trying to heal it with proper diet the pain incresed to a point I used to cry myself to sleep and sit in warm run at night to get a relief, I have tried some ayurvedic treatment for a week where they used to insert warm oil inside it used to stay till next morning BM, that process did help when the pain was intorlerable, it's not completey gone, it reoccurs when i travel or eating something spicy, or even if I'm short if hydration or eating something i shouldn't have eaten, but the pain goes away in two three days or maximum 7 days sometimes there is only pain and no bleeding if i take care of it, it goes away, and sometimes there is bleeding and pain at same time, but I'm happy that my healing process when it reoccurs got short, sometimes I'm free from all of it for three months or two months I do go back to being normal but the problem is the pain and bleeding keeps reoccuring and I was thinking for surgical options but seeing that it bleeds or it reoccurs I'm concerned about getting it done, and since I'm in India idk which doctors would be best, And I need opinion if surgery would be helpful to me or no?
