How to get rid of cigarette smoke smell

My mother has a client she does laundry for. She can’t get the cigarette smoke smell out of it. She has tried using tide or gain laundry detergent with vinegar and baking soda in the wash cycle and odoban in the rinse cycle. She’s trying everything she can think of but maybe there’s a better combination of products to use?
