AI coaching

I have been using Microsoft Copilot to review the novel I’m writing and to give recommendations for rewrites. I have explicitly told the AI NOT to rewrite; I just want a coach. I must say, I’m very impressed with the quality of the feedback I’m getting. It has helped my rewrites and editing immensely. I also believe the advice has improved my writing de novo. I have become more aware of typical weaknesses in my writing and can better head them off at the pass. I understand and appreciate the concern about the use of AI, but this feels substantively different than having Ai write (or rewrite) directly. Am curious about others experiences with this type of use of Ai by others.
