Did quark, single handed save deep space nine laughter?

Watching S5E3 and laughing my head off when Quark is pursuing his former wife Grilka, who by the way I wouldn’t even mind fighting Klingons for, as did Worf.

But the amount of times I’ve laughed, it’s usually down to Quark and Odo, or else Garak the rest of the cast always so serious.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
