Foundation settling after installing perimeter drains?

have a pretty old house 60 years.

i have one crack pretty close to the middle on the long side, its a rectangle house 4 corners. I noticed it when digging for perimeter drains which the house did not have.

now I ended up running the perimeter drains a foot from the footing and it picks up water 4” below the bottom of the slab, because our slab wasn’t poured on the footing, slab is level with bottom of foundation footings

When we get heavy rain, the perimeter drain is running like a faucet for days at a time

Now 2 years later I noticed one new crack on the foundation, directly on the opposite side of where the one crack I knew about was. basement slab has no cracks in it though and it’s all exposed.

Wondering if I maybe dried out 60 years of saturated ground and possible caused some minor settling, or all that water is washing away some soil, but I don’t know the water in the drains is always pretty clean.

Anyone notice some settling after finally fixing drainage issues that would have exited as long as the house has been built?
