Told by Reddit to reset password, then got shadowbanned. No further messages in box.

Hey fellow mods/admins!

I have a decade and half old active account and mod a few subreddits. I received a message from Reddit to reset my password as the system had detected some unusual behavior. Out of safety, it said my account will remain locked in the meantime.

I checked my email and saw I had multiple password reset requests. I quickly changed my password to something strong. I then noticed my PM’s won’t send, my comments do post but they are invisible to other users (shadowbanned). Then checking my public profile page it says that my account is banned.

It makes no sense because I already reset my password and received no further information nor do I see any alerts in the account. I would appreciate any help with unlocking the account.

I already filled out the form in the Reddit help page but from what I’ve read people have been waiting for month+ to hear back.

I have deals with people in the mechanical keyboard and precious metals communities so this is really catastrophic to say the least because I can login and see everything but I can’t respond.

Any help will be really really appreciated.
