Favorite approach to older games association (2k14-2k17 era)

What is your favorite approach to Association/MyGM/MyNBA in the older 2K's as far as teams you use? (assuming you're only using 1 team)

Using a rebuilding or middle of the pack big market team and creating a dynasty (ex. Knicks, Celtics, Lakers, Bulls, 76ers, Mavericks, Nets, Heat)

Using an established contender to form a dynasty? (Ex. Thunder, Rockets, Warriors, Clippers, Spurs, Cavaliers, Trail Blazers, Raptors)

Using a young rebuilding small market and trying to grow them into a Dynasty? (Ex. Pelicans, Suns, Timberwolves, Bucks, Kings, Pistons, Jazz, Magic)

Assume you have to play every game every season.
