This video provides a detailed review of the **Xiaomi SU7 Max electric car**, emphasizing its impressive features and competitive pricing.

Here's a breakdown of the key points:

* **Exterior Design and Specs**: The Xiaomi SU7 Max is a fully electric four-door sedan with a 101 kWh battery, dual motor, all-wheel drive, and 673 horsepower, offering 320 miles of range. It incorporates design elements inspired by more premium brands like McLaren, Lotus, Porsche Taycan, Polestar, and Mercedes AMG GT. All of this is available at a retail price of approximately **$42,000 US**.
* **Interior and Software**: The interior is described as well-designed and premium, featuring comfortable heated and ventilated leather seats, a heated steering wheel, a bright HUD, and a 16-inch central display. The car also includes numerous storage compartments, a clever flashlight, and physical controls for essential functions. The software is highly praised for its smoothness, integration with the Xiaomi ecosystem, and advanced features like **wireless Apple CarPlay** and **separated navigation voice output** for the driver.
* **Modular Interior**: A unique aspect of the SU7 is its modular interior, which allows for various accessories such as an extra speedometer, a magnetic car mount, a USB hub, microphones for karaoke, and walkie-talkies. This modularity enables users to customize the car's hardware to their preference.
* **Driving Impressions**: The car offers multiple driving modes, including a comfortable and smooth "comfort mode" with excellent air suspension, and a "sport plus mode" that delivers a more responsive and firmer driving experience. It boasts a 0 to 60 mph time of under 3 seconds and handles comparably to a Tesla Model 3 Performance or BMW i4. The build quality is noted for its quietness and effective noise cancellation.
* **Self-Driving Capabilities**: The Xiaomi SU7 features full self-driving capabilities, with "Pilot Pro" and "Pilot Max" modes in China that can handle most driving scenarios on various roads.
* **Conclusion - "Are we cooked?"**: The reviewer concludes that while the Xiaomi SU7 is not yet available in the US, it represents a significant leap in EV technology and value. The car feels like a **$75,000 vehicle** despite its **$42,000 price tag**, excelling in software, features, build quality, versatility, range, and drive. The absence of such cars in the US is attributed to political and tariff issues, but the existence of such advanced and affordable EVs raises the bar for the entire industry.
