Im in a tough spot

Im halfway through hs and haven’t talked to a girl until now and shes’ smart takes honors classes, does national history day and the big part plays soccer. So i asked her out after she messaged me on instagram for something dumb i put in my notes “applesauce” and she replied to i love applesauce and i sold the conversation but my friends winged me out of it and now i have a soccer date and love watching soccer in 2 weeks if i lose i buy her dinner (t-bell) i dont mind buying her dinner but i dont want to embarrass myself. Any help?
