Anyone else not care about abs but obsess over how they look in a t-shirt?
Like I don't care about the beach. I don't care about being shredded. I care about putting on a crew-neck and looking like I actually lift.
For me that means: 1. thicker neck, 2. upper chest that fills out the collar, 3. shoulders that stretch the sleeves, 4. forearms when I roll my sleeves up, 5. an ass that actually exists, etc
The problem is most programs I've found is built around bench press, squat, deadlift, and ab exercises per week. My abs are behind a layer of fat I don't care about losing. I'm not competing. I'm not going to the beach. I just want to look good dressed.
So I started building my own programming focused exclusively on those 5 areas I mentioned above. No ab work. No calf raises. Just the muscles that actually show when you're wearing clothes.
Question**:** Is anyone else training this way intentionally? And would you actually use an app that programmed exclusively for this goal — where neck training and hip thrusts are treated as important as bench press, and abs are not a priority?
Genuinely asking because I'm considering building it and don't want to build something nobody wants.
