Looking for advice

My oldest child who is 8 is dyslexic and also diagnosed with adhd. She has a reading age of 6yrs 0 months and is 2-4th percentile for a lot of things around reading and writing. Shes in the 85th + percentiles for phonological awareness, vocabulary, and anything where she had to answer questions about a story she had listened to and not had to read.

My youngest who is 5yrs 4 months started school 4 weeks ago. Her teacher just spoke to me and mentioned that she has very little knowledge around individual letters, and recognising/writing them down.

She does however have fantastic phonological awareness and I can’t help but feel we’re heading on a similar path.

My youngest is also really good at blending sounds, understanding the sound a word starts with, and anything where she listens to the question and doesn’t have to read or write.

Could this be dyslexia in her too? I see how much my oldest struggles and I don’t think my youngest would have to go through it too.
