Help

Hello everyone,

I feel torn in between my feelings and work and pride I take in the work.

I got my mid-performance results and it is highest possible-4. My manager was surprised by it, so I think it came above him. He thought I have 3.

He is going away for 2 weeks leave and wants me to certain things such as reporting and presenting on one meeting, but official 2IC and in charge is another person. I am struggling with it. Just last week he told me that i have to remember I am just my role, not the leader and in the same time I get 4 as rating.

I am so confused and in one hand I want to say, if you want someone else as 2IC, then he does it all and I am back to just my role. And in another, might make it sound I am difficult and hinder me further.

I have no idea what to do.
