How to play sound from all surround sound speakers?

Recently got a sound card for my new 5.1 surround sound and everything works fine, I configured it and all the speakers work, but I want the front and rear speakers playing at the same time when there isnt any "true" surround sound being picked up so I always get the most out of my speakers.
