Substitute for translocators in early LV?

I want to move buckets between an auto crafting bench and a ulv tank for xp autocrafting. Are there any substitutes to do this without translocators? The closest one i have gotten is an lv item filter block with a conveyer belt cover, which is sadly too slow (1 bucket every 20 seconds). Any other ways I could try, or do i just have to wait until i am able to get a blast furnace and get aluminium?
