What to wear to interview? 19m

Hey everyone, I have an interview in a few days for a Universal Banker position. Do I need to wear a suit or are slacks with a button down just fine? I don’t have much money to spend on a suit right now, but if it’s necessary I’d be willing to spend some money. I’m in California if that matters.

thank you!
