Burning sensation that feels like it wants to come back but never fully does!!

Has anyone experienced this after starting a neuromodulator (amitriptyline, pregabalin, gabapentin, etc.)???

It feels like the pain is trying to come back, like a flare is about to start, but it never actually turns into real pain. Just mild burning or discomfort that lasts a few minutes or sometimes a couple of hours during the day, and then fades away...

Context: I’ve been on venlafaxine for almost 2 months. During the first month my pain completely disappeared after months of suffering. But this past week I’ve started noticing a slight burning sensation that feels like it wants to return, yet it never fully happens. I’m obviously relieved, but it honestly SCARES me 😭 I’ll talk to my gynecologist anyway, I just can’t handle the anxiety while waiting.
