What processes prevent the DOJ from destroying evidence in the Epstein Files? How is protected?
Hi.
I'm new to this sub, but figured you folks would likely be able to resolve a burning issue for me. What prevents the DOJ from destroying evidence in the Epstein Files case?
The regime seems to be operating without regard for the law and the judiciary. Assuming the files include evidence directly implicating Trump in a pedophilia and human-trafficking ring or worse, the most effective solution to prevent its publication would be to destroy it.
What stops them?
In what form are the Epstein files stored? How is the evidence catalogued an protected? What level of data redundancy is required by federal law? How is access controlled and monitored? Who would be held accountable were an "accidental deletion" to occur?
I worry that these monsters of the Epstein Class will not face justice. I know they would destroy evidence if they could. So, why don't they?
Thanks.
