Snowboard boots have given up the ghost: buy here in niseko or back in Aus and rent remaining day?

As per title - boots have ripped. Not sure if it's the rental board bindings that sped up the process because they were fine (albeit getting on in age) prior to this trip, but anyhow.

Do I buy new pair at rhythm or boot solutions here in hirafu? Or just rent a pair and buy back in Aus.

Beginner so not needing anything crazy fancy but would like whatever is better value cost wise.
