Career change?
Hi, to who ever may have the same experience or can share any insights or tips to my current situation.
I currently work for USPS as a carrier for 5 years, job is ok don't completely hate it. I have spine conditions, work with restrictions and I have good and bad days, not going to talk about management. I recently was thinking to myself, damn how would I be in the next 5-10 years especially now having a new born, so I decided to look at the USAJOBS site and found out a SSA CSR (DHA) vancy were am from so I applied 2 days ago I already have an interview for 3/3.
I have read a little about SSA CSR current situation, they are saying is hectic, though I've managed hectic before in pandemic times in USPS still in one piece. So I want to know is the change worth it, I kind of dont understand the pay much but from the looks of it I would take a pay cut, work culture, If hectic times go away how would it be, do they match my salary, interview, growth?
thanks in advanced!
for some reason I feel the grass is not always greener on the other side, You tell me?
