Is dps playable for bronze players?

I’m stuck in plat-diamond lobbies as a bronze player. I usually play support (zen almost only) and I have some fun.

But I want to play dps, but every game I play dps I lose. I’ve watched guides, I’ve been coached, I’ve done it all. But I don’t think it’s playable if I go against people higher rank than me. Since I just auto lose any fight against them, and I can’t ever dive or take angles because they will kill me instantly. I’m currently on a loss streak of about 25 trying to play dps. I’ve just given up entirely.
