De-android?

So, if I understand correctly, Samsung is a walled garden already (can't use GrapheneOS, have to have a Pixel #? for GOS), and will be absorbed into this, whatever the fuck is happening with Android being locked down from opensource apps?

So options are

1. Accept furtherance of continued loss or theft of privacy, and change nothing if I have a Samsung or other major brand of phone.

2. Pixel, certain numbers I can't remember which, then GrapheneOS

3. iOS *rolls eyes*

4. Any other options?
