Automated downloading for new releases in a genre (as opposed to by artist)

So I was wondering, as I have gotten more into collecting music again, are there any tools out there that I can add genres too that automatically go out and download new releases in that genre? I know that Lidarr downloads new music based on Artist, but if I don't already know about the artist I may never find them. Maybe there is a way to set up Lidarr to do genres instead of just by Artist? Maybe I am over thinking this and there is a better way to achieve this?
