I did some UT Bot experiments and tweaks.
UT Bot on the 5m Chart (Save your account from the "chop")
It’s not magic; it’s an ATR (Average True Range) Trailing Stop.
The Logic: It calculates a "buffer" around the price based on recent volatility. When the price crosses that buffer, it flips the signal (Buy or Sell)
Do not UT Bot on heiken Ashi. It looks good but it repaints.
• The Settings: Change Key Value to 3 and keep ATR at 10. The default (2) is too "noisy" for the 5-minute timeframe and will flip-flop your bias constantly.
• The Golden Rule: Add a 200 EMA. Only take BUYS when the price is above the 200 EMA; only take SELLS when it's below.
• The Death Zone: Don’t trade the first 30 minutes of the market open. The volatility makes the bot give "fake" signals that get reversed instantly.
• Exit Strategy: Use the indicator’s trailing line as your hard Stop Loss. If a candle closes on the other side of the line, the trade is dead. Period.
