Can multiple H-1B registrations be filed for the same person for different position

Hi all,

I’m currently employed at a company and my role maps to wage level 1. I also have an offer from a different, unrelated company for a role that maps to wage level 4, and both employers are planning to file H-1B registrations this year.

I have a few questions:

1. Is it legal to have multiple registrations from unrelated employers in the same H-1B lottery?
2. Can both registrations be selected, or will USCIS pick only one?
3. In the wage-weighted system, does USCIS only consider the registration with the lower wage, or are they evaluated independently?
