My $2800 Legion 5 Pro is a paperweight after 3 years. Lenovo Canada help?
Looking for some advice. My Legion 5 just died. Local shop says the CPU shorted and wants $1300 to fix it, which is obviously not happening.
I’m in Manitoba and I know we have some decent consumer protection laws regarding "reasonable lifespan" for expensive electronics. Has anyone here had luck getting Lenovo Canada to help out with a "goodwill" repair or at least a flat-rate depot fix?
I really don't want to bin a $2800 machine because of a motherboard failure after only 3 years. If anyone from Lenovo support is on here or if a mod can help me escalate this to a case manager, I’d really appreciate it.
I’ve got the serial number and the tech report ready to go. Thanks!
