Divert dryer exhaust to heat room?

Has anyone ever diverted the exhaust on an electric dryer so that the exhaust can help simultaneously heat a room? I realize I’d need or want to create some time of lint or dust trap but the wasted heat to me seems a waste of good heat. Thanks.
