I have a lot of interests but feel like I kind of struggle at everything?
I’m a guy that’s 29. I have a lot of interests. I‘m at the age where I feel like I should be moving out of the beginner phase at something
So my job is an auto claims adjuster. I recently got a certification in that. I try to learn and work hard but I get behind and make mistakes. I play guitar and take private lessons. I’ve been playing for several years but still struggle a lot. I’m getting a meteorology degree (as a hobby while I work full time as an adjuster). I’m in a physics and calculus class now and I’m really struggling at both. I’m training to run a 5K this fall. Struggling with the training.
I struggle with all of this. I try to be open to learn. I like to take classes and lessons. I try to be very open to criticism and tips. And have a positive attitude when somebody is telling me what I’ve messed up. But sometimes I fall flat on my face hard and it creates some awkward situations where I just can’t do what they’re trying to teach me. Why do you think I struggle like this? I’m putting in the effort in all of this. Getting up at 4:30 each morning trying to catch up on work emails, run, class work, or guitar playing. I enjoy it all (except for my job most of the time). I’m trying hard on all of this so why do I keep falling short?
