Some steam shortcuts turned into blue globes / game crashing

A while ago I turned on my pc and all of a sudden a lot of my shortcuts turned into blue globes, i ignored it and not a lot happened. My pc does crash a lot during any steam game usually due to corrupted files which makes me think that its related to that somehow.
