Can there be fascism in the United States?

I have read and am reading about the infantile standpoint (insert Mussolini bubble) on fascism and I have seen back and forths about it on this sub, from my understanding a key part of fascism is the mobilization of the *gulp* petit bourgeois. Could fascism take place in the United State? I’m interested to hear what this sub thinks and the different arguments because I can’t remember the exact thread but ppl were going back in forth about whether the petit bourgeois had to mobilized.
