Need help with my dry lips

So I've had dry lips for as long as I can remember and nothing was working. I'd always use lip balm and coconut oil but it never worked. I finally researched how to care for them and have done some things already like exfoliating. But my lips are still dry at times. I have some lip balms/chapsticks but it feels like it's not working. I have this cocoa butter and rosy lips Vaseline but it's not really working. I have this chapstick that has lots of good stuff in it but it's also not really working. I have a lip sleep mask but I don't think it works either. When I wake up, my lips do feel pretty smooth but then when I wash it off, it gets pretty dry. Now I'm using castor oil and it's kind of working but I'm not really sure? I have no idea what to use or buy atp. I've heard people say to use Aquaphor but I'm not exactly sure which one to get exactly. Someone please recommend me good and maybe affordable products that can help me :(
