My damn chest
I know that’s this might not be for this forum but I have nowhere else to post. When I googled the question I had it lead to this subreddit and I’m worried others will be weird about it. I am a cis woman and don’t have any experiences/thoughts/feelings that would make me think I am not (general stereotypes aside). And maybe this is an issue I don’t know about and could learn about somewhere better but it’s effecting my day to day life and causing friction in my relationship so I need to find some answers. I have a very large chest and have done since I went through puberty. Even when I had an ED and was extremely underweight, I still didn’t go below a C (knowing that even if I lose weight to a drastic level I still can’t get away from having a visible chest is a component). The crux of the issue is that I don’t want anyone to see me as having breasts at all. I aim to go on my morning walk or run at 5:30 but I wake up at 5 (with my clothes folded and ready to wear) and often won’t leave the house until after 6 because I constantly need to fix things to cover up my chest so nobody can see it or be the closest I can be to not having one. This gets even worse when I go see my partner’s parents, friends, or generally just leave the house where I will see someone. I will wear a sports bra, sometimes another sports bra if I’m particularly upset, a sports bra type crop top that is a size or two too small and sucks things in, a normal crop top that goes up higher and covers any kind of cleavage, a vest and then the top I’m wearing. Is this body dysmorphia or does dysphoria apply here too? I really don’t know and I can’t pay to get rid of them so I need some insight to give my psychologist so she may be able to help me so I can breathe fully at some point on my life. I’m sorry if this is taking up space for questions that actually apply, I just got to this subreddit from google and I’m desperate to know what to do and don’t know if I’m seeing dysphoria in a specific way so ruling out whether it may apply to me (even though I’m cis)
