Is in game trade with discount a risk of account ban? (< 10% off)

I just joined a trading discord and starts selling my crafted foods there. Suddenly heard some of the buyers said they got suspended because of the 3rd party trading... They claimed they do not involve in any RMT.

I am confused now. I was believing fair trade should be allowed but it turns out not... Any experience on using discord trading platform?
