Making the move as a 17 y/o girl advice pls

Hi I am 17, I’ve never been in a relationship , I’ve had chances to, with guys having interest in me but I’ve never given anyone a chance because I either didn’t find them physically attractive, or because they’ve had red flags. (Out of most I’ve only found around two attractive) Because of this I began to go up to guys that I find physically attractive, unfortunately I think this approach hasn’t been the best for me, usually it never goes anywhere to be fair I’ve only asked for three guys contact info. I know I am young and have a lot of time to find the right person. But I can’t help but feel a bit like I won’t find someone who I am attracted to and who has the traits I am looking for. At the end of the day what I am trying to say is there are no guys who I am attracted to approaching me. I don’t know if it is because in my environment there isn’t a lot of variety or because I am just not that attractive. Probably both anyways there is this guy who I want to ask out at my school I am debating on doing so .
